No worries — we don’t recycle used toilet paper. Our recycled paper comes from waste paper and old cardboard collected from businesses and households around the factory’s region. It is then sorted using laser technology that keeps only paper without ink.

Everything is made in Europe. The paper waste is collected in Spain, in Girona, and our rolls are produced nearby in a B Corp–certified factory.

The beige color of our toilet paper is completely natural. It comes from recycled paper fibers, which we deliberately choose not to bleach.

This is a conscious choice: to avoid unnecessary chemical treatments, to preserve resources, and above all, to protect your skin.

PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are chemical compounds used to make certain materials resistant to water, grease, or heat. They can be found in food packaging, waterproof textiles, non-stick coatings… and sometimes even in toilet paper.

They are often called “forever chemicals” because they do not break down naturally, accumulate in the environment, and can contaminate water, food… and our bodies. Some studies link them to risks such as cancer, endocrine disruption, or harm to the immune system.

At Ecopop, we have our toilet paper tested to ensure that it contains no detectable traces of PFAS.

Honestly, it’s actually a pretty good deal. Most brands show the price per roll (not per sheet), even though they often sell rolls with around 150 sheets and about 75g of paper.

With us, each roll is double-ply, with 350 real sheets and 130g of paper per roll.

So yes, at first glance it might seem a bit more expensive… But in reality, you get more paper, and each roll lasts longer.

When you compare the price based on actual usage, we’re right in line with — and often even more competitive than — many supermarket toilet paper brands.

We need to protect our rolls from moisture and germs. We could wrap them in packs of six (the maximum possible), but that would require thicker paper. The result? We’d end up using the same amount of paper (by weight) as wrapping six rolls individually with our ultra-thin paper.

So we chose individual wrapping: it looks better, it’s more eye-catching, and it’s perfect for sharing our mission with a smile. And most importantly, our packaging contains no plastic at all. And that’s the real win.
