FAQ - We answer your questions
When will I be delivered?
Our first batch is currently in production. We estimate it will arrive in our small warehouse sometime in September. From there, it will take 3 to 7 business days for your box to arrive at your home. You're among the very first to launch ecopop, and for that, we thank you for your trust and patience!
How does the ecopop subscription work?
Our subscription is simple: choose your delivery frequency (every 3, 2, or 1 month), and we'll deliver directly to your door. You can change or cancel at any time without charge.
Why is ecopop toilet paper beige?
The beige color of our toilet paper is natural. It comes from recycled paper fibers, which we choose not to bleach. This is a deliberate choice to avoid unnecessary chemical treatments, conserve resources, and, above all, protect our skin.
The shade may vary slightly from batch to batch: this is simply due to the diversity of the recycled papers we use. Some are lighter, others a little darker. This change in color does not affect the quality or efficiency of the paper.
What are PFAS?
PFAS (polyfluoroalkyls) are chemical compounds used to make certain materials resistant to water, grease, or heat. They are found in food packaging, waterproof textiles, non-stick coatings, and sometimes in toilet paper.
They are called "forever chemicals" because they don't break down naturally, accumulate in the environment, and can contaminate water, food, and our bodies. Some studies link them to risks of cancer, endocrine disruption, and damage to the immune system.
At ecopop , we have our toilet paper tested to ensure it contains no detectable traces of PFAS .
Where does recycled paper come from?
Don't panic, we don't recycle used toilet paper. Our recycled paper comes from trash and old cardboard collected from businesses and individuals around the factory's area. It is then sorted using a laser that keeps only the paper without ink.
Isn't your toilet paper a bit expensive?
Honestly, it's a pretty sweet deal. Most brands list the price per roll (not per sheet), even though they often offer rolls of 150 sheets. Here, each roll is double-thick, with thicker sheets and 350 actual sheets. So yes, at first glance, it might seem a bit more expensive... But in reality, we're about average, even better value than a lot of toilet paper in supermarkets.
Why wrap the rolls individually?
We need to protect our rolls from moisture and germs. We could wrap them in packs of 6, but that would require thicker paper. The result: we'd use as much paper (by weight) as for 6 rolls individually wrapped with our super-thin paper. So we opted for individual packaging: prettier, more eye-catching, and perfect for getting our mission across with a smile. And best of all, our packaging contains no plastic. And that's the real kick.
